The Big Lunch, Sunday 19 July
What is the Big Lunch?
Dreamed up by the Eden Project, and supported by the National Trust and other
partners, the Big Lunch is a neighbourhood summer party that encourages communitites
to stop what they are doing, sit down, and share a meal together. It's about getting
to know each other, and eating delicious food that you've grown or created yourself.
What's happening at Fountains?
We're encouraging everyone to come along with family, friends and neighbours
to join our celebration. Throughout the day there will be entertainment to enjoy
from folk musicians to swing dancers, and the opportunity for children to have
their faces painted.
So bring along a picnic, or tuck into the delicious local sausages and burgers
being cooked on the BBQ outside the Abbey kiosk, and enjoy a great day out.
